Wherever you need to transport audio wirelessly, Iris can be used in many ways. It’s ideal for ceiling speakers but it also turns event speakers into wireless powerhouses. Up to 10 Iris transmitters with up to 50 receivers each will coexist at the same site. Operating at a dedicated frequency, the networks are immune to interference from mobile, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The maximum distance to the transmitter ranges from about 50m indoors, to as high as 300m outdoors!

Iris Pro transmitter and receiver
All the inputs and outputs you need to transport audio from a professional source to its destination. The Streamit Iris Pro Transmitter marks a leap in audio technology, equipped with versatile inputs including RCA, XLR, AES3, S/PDIF, and TOSlink, and supporting high-resolution audio up to 216 kHz, 24 Bit. This allows for seamless integration across various audio setups.
Notably, its low latency of just 16.5ms is perfect for live performances, ensuring audio synchronization. With its robust build and intuitive interface, the Iris Pro Transmitter guarantees reliability and ease of use.
Operating on a dedicated frequency, it stands out for its immunity to interference from mobile, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth signals. The transmitter provides a maximum range of up to 300 meters outdoors, ensuring far-reaching, clear audio delivery.
Iris transmitter and receiver
For home audio and background music especially fixed location we offer the compact Iris. In terms of appearance and hardware, they are identical to each other. Compact and extremely low power consumption can be mounted unobtrusively and powered 24/7.
Iris transmitter
An Iris transmitter can be connected to a Lisa player, laptop or other audio source that has an RCA-cable. The starter kit comes paired, but you can easily add a receiver and pair the Iris transmitter with more Iris receivers using our Android app (which you can download for free).
Iris receiver
Place a receiver at each active speaker, or connect the Iris receiver to an amplifier to which a speaker is connected.
Iris Brick Amp

Iris Plate Amp
Create a professional wireless active speaker with the Streamit Iris Plate Amplifier, offering 2x 50 watts of Class D amplification and a full-featured DSP. This amplifier integrates a Digital Signal Processor, adaptable to your loudspeaker design, with crossover control, limiters, Parametric Equalizer, and delay adjustments for fine-tuning sound.

Store
For clothing stores, supermarkets, hardware stores and other types of shops, the Streamit Iris is the perfect wireless audio solution. By connecting an Iris transmitter to an audio source – for example an audio player or PC with a business music account – you can easily transfer music, announcements and commercials wirelessly to all speakers in the store. All you need are powered speakers and a built-in amplifier to which an Iris transmitter is connected.
The number of speakers and the distance to the speakers is no problem for Iris. The basic range starts at 50m (indoors) and can be extended to 300m (outdoors) with the help of directional antennas! And the number of speakers that can be connected with one Iris transmitter in 1.000 pieces.
Installing audio cables and drilling into walls are a thing of the past. This saves a lot of valuable installation time. And for monumental buildings, it is saved by ugly holes.
Outdoor events
At an outdoor event, considerable (audio) distances often must be bridged. In addition, there are sometimes obstacles on event grounds such as a ponds, hills, or pits. Think of festivals or golf tournaments. It is then quite a challenge to work with audio cables. In addition, laying audio cables takes a lot of time. Even if they need to be cleaned up again.
With the Streamit Iris, obstacles, costly installation time and clean-up time are a thing of the past. Because you can quickly connect and disconnect the Iris. The audio transmission also remains stable due to the powerful DECT technology.

Restaurant
Pesca Rotterdam uses Iris in flagship seafood restaurant.
Pesca, a new restaurant in a historic landmark building in Rotterdam opened its doors recently using a popular consumer grade system using their Wi-Fi network. From the beginning the system was unsatisfactory in a professional environment because individual loudspeakers were continuously being dropped from the network, with loudspeakers throughout the venue spontaneously turning off and on. Very typical network issues, a lot of speakers dropped audio each time a new track started.
The supplier nor manufacturer could not solve the issue, so finally they turned to a consultant for advice. As the original manufacturer could not solve the issue, and the issue was with the product, the solution left was a completely new system.
But the challenges remained. The entire venue has a historic glass ceiling with very limited access and all the walls were finished with no cabling installed. And the wish was to have no visible cables or conduits. And only expert glass fitters were allowed to touch the glass. So the choice had been made to go wireless, but the search was for a wireless solution that was stable and reliable.
The choice fell on custom built speakers that complemented the historic interior with hand veneered housings and custom 3D printed fronts combined with Iris.
In an unfortunate twist, and to prove no one is perfect, there were some start up issues with the new installation not with the wireless stability but there were random scattered instances of audio quality issues. It took a little effort to localize it, it turned out to be a defective device. After that fix, the installation is running smoothly without any visible wires. Customers can now enjoy their unique concept with perfect audio.
