By connecting an Iris transmitter to an audio source – for example an audio player or PC with a business music account – you can easily transfer music, announcements and commercials wirelessly to all speakers in the store. All you need are powered speakers and a built-in amplifier to which an Iris transmitter is connected.
The number of speakers and the distance to the speakers is no problem for Iris. The basic range starts at 50m (indoors) and can be extended to 300m (outdoors) with the help of directional antennas! And the number of speakers that can be connected with one Iris transmitter in 1.000 pieces.

Restaurant
Pesca, a new restaurant in a historic landmark building in Rotterdam opened its doors recently using a popular consumer grade system using their Wi-Fi network. From the beginning the system was unsatisfactory in a professional environment because individual loudspeakers were continuously being dropped from the network, with loudspeakers throughout the venue spontaneously turning off and on. Very typical network issues, a lot of speakers dropped audio each time a new track started.
The supplier nor manufacturer could not solve the issue, so finally they turned to a consultant for advice. As the original manufacturer could not solve the issue, and the issue was with the product, the solution left was a completely new system.
The choice fell on custom built speakers that complemented the historic interior with hand veneered housings and custom 3D printed fronts combined with Iris.
Now the installation is running smoothly without any visible wires. Customers can now enjoy their unique concept with perfect audio.
