SIR150
The SIR150 is a professional internet radio receiver designed for IP-based studio transmitter links. Together with the SAS250, the SIR150 provides a reliable, low-cost IP-audio connection.
The SIR150 supports all major codecs, playing not only the audio from the SAS250, but also streams from other IP-audio sources. The SIR150 receiver is installed in the cable head-end, the FM transmitter station or at the satellite uplink. It has XLR output for the analog audio and an RS232 port for transparent RDS data transmission at configurable transmission rate.
With its advanced buffer management, the low-delay playback and automatic reconnection to the SAS250 after power or network failure, the SIR150 is an autonomous and reliable network device. This is completed by the network user interface and the option to fallback to a backup radio program on the memory card in case of unexpected network issues.
The web user interface, provided through the Streamit device portal, makes it easy to configure, monitor and even update the SIR150 remotely. In the Streamit device portal it is easy to maintain an overview of many SIR150 devices. It allows you to detect abnormalities with the color-coding that is used and make changes where necessary. A long drive to the head-end or to the FM transmitter site will become a rare trip.
