SAS250
The SAS250 is a professional internet radio transmitter, designed for IP-based studio transmitter links. Together with the SIR150, the SAS250 provides a reliable, low-cost IP-audio connection.
The SAS250 is installed in the studio and is equipped with XLR inputs and a headphone output for signal monitoring. The SAS250 encodes the analog audio in Ogg Vorbis format. This delivers excellent audio quality and requires little bandwidth (a standard ADSL connection is normally sufficient). Read more about different audio formats in our Audio STL e-book.
The SAS250 supports transparent RDS data transmission at configurable transmission rate through its RS232 port.
The automatic recovery after power or network failure makes the SAS250 an excellent autonomous and reliable network device.
The web user interface, provided through the Streamit device portal, makes it easy to configure, monitor and even update the SAS250 remotely. In the Streamit device portal it is easy to maintain an overview of many SAS250 devices.
