New network user interface for SIR120PRO

Eindhoven, December 2009

At the ISE2010 exhibition Streamit will demonstrate its SIR120Pro professional Internet radio with a newly developed Network user Interface. This makes it possible to control the SIR120Pro using sophisticated remote control systems like AMX, Crestron, Control4 and many others.

Johan van der Stoel, founder and owner of Streamit: “Some of our custom installers wanted to integrate our SIR120Pro with multi-room/multi-zone audio and cinema systems. They could not find a reliable Internet radio in their market segment that was open enough to integrate. We saw the opportunity and are releasing the SIR120Pro on the ISE2010 with this new important feature”.

The SIR120Pro already has an appealing set of specifications and is the only Internet Radio with balanced outputs (XLR). It is rack mountable and plays multiple audio formats.

The Network user Interface is open and fully documented. It is possible to develop your own integration with any TCP based communication protocol that you would prefer. It is not limited to a specific supplier.

The SIR120Pro is ideal as Internet radio component in high-end residential solutions, but can just as easily be used in hospitals, hotels and conference centers. For custom installers it is the perfect add-on.

On the ISE2010 the SIR120Pro is demonstrated working with a Control4 touch panel.
