at ISE 2012 with leading global sports brand

Dutch companies Notice and Streamit agreed on a deal for the delivery of an IP in-store audio solution for a leading global sports brand. The deal involves the delivery of thousands of Streamit SIR120 internet radio devices to the shops of the sports brand worldwide and the use of Streamit’s Audio Distribution Platform. ISE 2012 was chosen as the place to officially seal the deal.

The leading global sports brand has thousands of stores worldwide and was aiming to improve the operation and potential of their in-store audio delivery solution. The sports brand selected Notice as the solution provider. Having worked together on other projects before, Notice asked Streamit to provide the in-store audio hardware and delivery platform because of its reliability and good past experiences.

In each store of the sports brand a Streamit internet radio device (SIR120) will be installed to play the designated program. The Streamit SIR120 gets its configuration information and daily music playlist from the Streamit Audio Distribution Platform which is running on a Notice server. This offers far-reaching flexibility to the handling and assignment of music programs to specific shops and automated firmware updates. Any necessary changes can be handled centrally. In the store no hands are required. Furthermore, the SIR120 doesn’t contain any moving parts which makes it extra reliable and durable.
